As well as many other things monodiets, the potato diet exists in many variants differing first of all by quantity of the used main product (potato), and also quantity and assortment of “additives”, that is other products used together with a potato.
The most rigid variant of a potato diet which to me managed to be found, such: for a breakfast to drink a milk glass, a dinner - 300 gramme of mashed potatoes, for a supper - potato lettuce (250 grammes of a potato and one egg, hard-boiled to cut, it is a little to salt, add slightly vinegar and to fill with vegetable oil; it is possible to strew a black pepper). This variant of a potato diet allows to dump to 500 gramme a day. To sit on such diet 3-5 days are possible, to repeat not more often, than once a month.
Softer variant of a diet: to weld 1 kg of a potato in a uniform and to divide into 5-6 food intakes. To eat without salt, but it is possible (and even it is necessary) to strew a potato greengrocery - fennel, cumin, a parsley, green onion. If at such diet very much torments hunger it is possible to eat for a breakfast still a slice of bread with a butter, and during the lunchtime - there are some fresh vegetables (carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, a bulb onion). To drink it is possible mineral water, herbal extracts, tea without sugar (it is better green).
Even more to soften a potato diet it is possible, having added to the menu of the previous variant to 100 gramme of cottage cheese or cheese, stewed vegetables (carrots, tomatoes) - to 200 gramme, small (to 50 gramme) a slice of a lean meat or 1-2 eggs, hard-boiled or in the form of fried eggs.
Duration of such diet - 7-10 days to repeat not more often than time in two months.
